Who has your Key?
One of the best ways to ensure the security of your home or business is to have the locks re-keyed.  Many contractors have the locks master keyed and hand out keys to subcontractors during the construction process.  Most of the time these keys are lost or never returned to the contractor.  So you have to ask yourself the question, "Who has a key to my home or business?"  Do you know?  If you cannot answer this question it may not be a bad idea to have your locks re-keyed by ATC Lock & Key.

What is lock bumping?
Lock bumping is a lock picking technique for opening a pin tumbler lock using a specially-crafted bump key. One bump key will work for all locks of the same type.  Locksmiths use a technique for knocking on a lock cylinder while applying slight pressure to the back of the lock plug. When the pins jump inside of the cylinder, the plug will be able to slide out freely, thus enabling the locksmith to disassemble the lock quickly.
